Information to get students started back to school for 2020-2021

NEW THIS YEAR- Back to Business Days is for School Pictures and Dropping Off Medications ONLY. Purchase of PE T-shirts, sports fees, ASB membership and yearbooks will only be available online through the LWSD  Online Payments Portal beginning August 1, 2020.

◦Students will receive their class schedules on the 1st day of school.

Student Medication at School



•Arrive at any time during your assigned window. The busiest time is at the beginning of each window.
•Siblings can attend on the same day, regardless of grade level.


Tuesday, August 18th - Students NEW to IMS and LWSD

This is for families new to our area; it is not for incoming 6th graders who attended one of our feeder schools.

•10:00 - 11:00 AM Families NEW to LWSD and have NOT enrolled, or enrolled at the LWSD Resource Center over the summer.

Wednesday, August 19th - 8th Grade

•8:00 AM Last names I-P
•9:00 AM Last names Q-Z
•10:00 AM Last Names A-H

Wednesday, August 19th - 7th Grade

•11:00 AM Last names I-P
•11:50 PM Last names Q-Z
•12:40 PM Last Names A-H

Thursday, August 20th - 6th Grade

Can't make it to BTB Days? 

If you can't come at your assigned time or day, you may switch with another time or day or simply do everything online through Family Access.

NOTE: School photos will only be taken August 19 and 20. If you miss photos, they will be taken on September 2.

Pay through Parent Access

All students must have their picture taken for a school ID card.
◦If you want to purchase photos, the price of packages vary. See the Lifetouch info here.
◾You may pre-order pictures online. Click here to get the online code and bring a printed receipt with you to Back to Business Days.
◾Picture packet envelopes will also be available during Back to Business Days.

PE Uniforms

New this year only PE T-shirts are required to be purchased through Inglewood. Shorts purchased through IMS are no longer required. The following guidelines are for PE Uniforms:

Students will keep in their lockers and report to class in a uniform consisting of:

·        Inglewood tee shirt ($7 cost, purchase on line through Parent Access beginning August 1, 2020)

·        Shorts or Sweatpants/leggings/yoga pants of your choosing, must be black or IMS blue with logo only

·        Shoes that are appropriate for gym and/or outdoor use (no slip-on shoes)


Parent, Teacher, Student Assoc. is a non-profit organization run by parent volunteers. Membership dues help support programs at IMS that might not otherwise be available to students.
