Important Information

• School Pictures: On Thursday, August 22, students in grades 6th-8th will have an opportunity to get their pictures taken. Picture timeframes are:
  • 8:00am - 9:30am - 6th grade
  • 9:30am - 11:00am - 7th grade
  • 11:00am - 12:30pm - 8th grade
  • If you have students in multiple grade levels, please come to the time slot that works most conveniently for your family. In addition, if you are not able to make the grade level timeframe listed, please come when you are able. The last picture will be taken at 2pm. Picture retakes will be on September 4 during the school day.

• School Tours for New-to-Inglewood Students: Any new 6th grader, who registered since the beginning of the summer, or new 7th and 8th graders can drop by Inglewood between 9:00am - 11:00am on Thursday, August 22 for a Knight Crew (student leadership team) led school tour.  These tours are ONLY for newly registered students or incoming 6th graders that missed the school tours in the Spring of 2024. No need to Register. Tours will begin in the Gym Foyer (follow the designated signs). Any incoming 6th grader and their family can engage in a self-guided tour on August 22 between 9:00am - 11:00 am.  All tours (guided and self-guided) will begin in the Gym Foyer.

• School Supplies: 2024-2025 Grade Level Supply Lists can be found on our webpage here. To make back-to-school a little easier for our Inglewood families, the school will supply the shared items to students, purchased in bulk, and assign a $10 supply fee to each student. This fee needs to be paid via the Online Payment Portal, which will be opened in early August, and directions on how to pay can be found on our website here. (These supplies will be used and left at school.)

• School Medication Drop-Off:  Medication along with the required medication authorization forms and school health plans can be dropped off on Thursday, August 22 in the main office. Monday, August 26 is the deadline to drop off all life-saving medications, along with the required medication authorization forms and school health plans. The school nurse will be available to assist you on campus from 8:00am – 2pm on August 26.  Meeting this deadline, allows the nurse time to review for errors and omissions and have everything in place when students arrive on their first day.  Required forms were mailed to you at the end of June and can also be found here:  Student Health Forms - Lake Washington School District (lwsd.org) 

• 2024-2025 Schedules
  We will be posting 1st semester 2024 schedules on Skyward on Friday, August 30 at 3pm. We will also be emailing the schedules out to students and families. 

• Curriculum night will take place on September 24, 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

• Morning Drop-off Process
  Every day, roughly 800 students ride the bus to school and about 450 students walk or are dropped off by a parent/guardian. The Administrative Team put together a short (2min39sec) VIDEO to help with traffic flow and keep our students safe.
  Please remind your students that they need to walk their bicycles, skateboards, and one-wheels on campus.

  • Log in to Skyward Family Access
  • Select “Student Info” then “View Bus Schedule” to open the student’s transportation information.

• 2024-2025 Sports at Inglewood:
  Students are required to have a valid physical exam (which is good for two years from date of exam), using the Physical Clearance Form, be an ASB member ($30), and pay the participation fee for sports ($100).  We recommend making appointments with your doctor for a physical during the summer and bringing a printed copy of the Physical Clearance Form with you for your doctor to complete.
