LAPTOP MAINTENANCE:
Charge your computer every evening and restart it every day to keep it healthy and updated.
If anything is not working properly, try a restart first to see if that will fix your problem. If that does not help, contact library staff for help. Ms. Wright, Ms. Stroup, and Ms. Vallene are here to help, and Mr. Pearson is our technician.
How to restart your laptop?
1. Click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen. You can also press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the Start menu.
2. Click the Power icon.
The Power icon is directly above the Start icon.
3. When you click the power button, you will have the option to put your computer to sleep, restart it, or power it down. Choose “restart”. (A restart can take up to 10 minutes.)
